Georgia pledges full support for regional peace and stability

“We would like to reaffirm our readiness to contribute to peace and stability in the region. In this direction, Georgia will spare no effort,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at a joint briefing with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Axar.az informs, citing Georgian media, Kobakhidze thanked Nikol Pashinyan for his personal contribution to strengthening cooperation and friendship between Georgia and Armenia.

“We are pleased to see a very positive dynamic in the region toward expanding cooperation. As noted today at the meeting of the intergovernmental commission, a historic peace agreement has been signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan. These positive trends create a very solid foundation for all of us to work together to ensure stability in our region and establish lasting peace.
