Elchin Amirbayov, Special Affairs Advisor to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has met with Edmondo Cirielli, Italy’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Axar.az reports, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation released the information on X.

The post noted that the meeting focused on the main regional and international dossiers, as well as strengthening the partnership between Rome and Baku in the strategic sectors of political and economic cooperation.

It added that a broad exchange of views was held in preparation for the upcoming visit of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and within the framework of the Action Plan signed in January.
