We are ready to help Ankara-Yerevan approach - Lavrov
Russia is ready to assist in normalizing Armenian-Turkish relations
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this.
“We try to solve the problems existing in the Armenian-Turkish relations. We have played an active role in the signing of the Zurich protocols, and have warned that it is expected to come into force regardless of the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We had serious doubts, ”he said.
Despite the failure of the Armenian-Turkish protocols, Lavrov said that Moscow is still ready to use its opportunities to normalize relations between the two countries. He said that Turkey and Armenia should be interested first and foremost in the normalization of relations.
