Today, President Ilham Aliyev has signed one decree and one order on SOCAR.

Axar.az reports that the decree established the Supervisory Board of SOCAR to exercise general management and control over the activities of SOCAR.

By the order of the President, the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has been appointed chairman of the council.

The members of the Supervisory Board are:

Emin Huseynov - Assistant to the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Israfil Mammadov - Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Elnur Soltanov - Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Azer Bayramov - Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Rovshan Najaf - Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Ruslan Alikhanov - Chief Executive Officer of Azerbaijan Investment Holding.
