Relations with Azerbaijan are a priority for Pakistan.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Pakistan's ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee during a seminar on "Pakistan today" organized by the Center for International Relations Analysis and the Pakistani embassy in Azerbaijan.

"We are trying to improve our relations with many countries. Pakistan does not recognize Armenia as a state. We do not have a direct conflict with Armenia, our position is related to the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia. "If there are no unresolved issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia, we are ready to normalize relations with Armenia in the future," the ambassador said.
