Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, who is on a business trip to Sochi, Russian Federation, met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba Manuel Marrero Cruz on June 8.

Axar.az reports that active political dialogue between the two countries was established at the meeting, and the importance of high-level mutual visits and meetings was emphasized.

Satisfaction was expressed with the cooperation of Azerbaijan and Cuba in international organizations, including the UN and the Non-Aligned Movement.

The heads of government also discussed the issues of expanding cooperation between the two countries in the economic, commercial and humanitarian fields.
