Yemen's Houthis claim attack on King Fahd airport

Yemen's Houthi armed forces have claimed responsibility for a drone attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, saying the strike disrupted air traffic at the airport.

Axar.az reports that, in a post on X, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the operation had successfully hit its target and disrupted air traffic at the airport.

In a separate statement, Saree claimed that Saudi warplanes had carried out 61 airstrikes across Yemen over the previous 24 hours, targeting what he described as civilian infrastructure in Sanaa and the provinces of Al Jawf, Taiz, Saada, Marib, Lahj, Al Dhale, Ibb, Al Hudaydah and Hajjah.

He claimed that the strikes had killed and injured dozens of civilians, most of them women and children.
