The press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, announced the new number of Armenians leaving Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that he claimed that "65,036 Armenian residents" have already left Karabakh.

It should be noted that Armenia began to exaggerate the number of people leaving Karabakh from the first day. Recall that after the statement of November 10, 2020, Russian peacekeepers officially announced the return of 52.7 thousand residents to Karabakh. However, information spread that Armenians returned to Armenia after registering in Khankendi and continued to live here. The reason was that Armenia paid twice as much monthly compensation to Armenians who returned to Karabakh than to those who chose to stay in Armenia.

The separatist-terrorist junta, which announced its release today, played an active role in exaggerating the number of people living in Karabakh. Thus, the more population was shown in Karabakh, the more the allocations from the state budget of Armenia increased and tens of thousands of "dead souls" flowed into the pockets of separatist-terrorists.

Considering this, as early as 2021, the former leader of the separatist terrorists, Araik Harutyunyan, "regretfully" stated that there were up to 25,000 Armenians in Karabakh, and stated that the Armenians were leaving as a protest against the current social conditions.

Let's remember that until September 27, 2020 - before the beginning of the Patriotic War, a total of 65 thousand people lived in Karabakh, and some of them were illegally brought and settled in Lachin, Kalbajar regions, including the city of Shusha. After the Patriotic War, they returned to Armenia and the countries of their citizenship - mainly Russia.

From this point of view, it is impossible to claim that more than 65 thousand Armenian residents have left Azerbaijan, and this can only be possible in one case: illegal armed groups and military units of the Armenian army. It seems that the 25,000th part of the Armenian army that was saved from the siege in 2020, including other forces, is still in the territory of Azerbaijan.
