President Ilham Aliyev refused to go to Spain (Granada), where the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was to be held with the participation of the leaders of the European Union (EU), France and Germany.

Axar.az reports that the reason for this is the destructive position of France, as well as the disagreement of Paris and Berlin regarding Turkiye's participation in the meeting. Under such conditions, the Azerbaijani side refused to negotiate.
