The newly appointed ambassador of Turkiye to Washington Sadat Onal met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Khazar Ibrahim.

Axar.az reports that X. Ibrahim X said about this in his account.

"We welcomed the newly appointed ambassador of Turkiye Sadat Onal and his wife Figen Onal at our residence together with our brothers (ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan in Washington). One nation, two states," the ambassador emphasized.

It should be noted that Sadat Onal previously worked as Turkiye's permanent representative to the UN.
