President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev called the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev on July 24.

Axar.az reports that the head of state congratulated Shavket Mirziyayev on his birthday and wished him good health and new success in his presidential activities.

Shavkat Mirziyayev expressed his gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan for the attention and congratulations.

The presidents noted the importance of the unofficial Summit meeting of the heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States in Shusha on July 5-6 this year and the contacts within this event.

During the telephone conversation, the heads of state stressed that friendly and fraternal relations between the countries have successfully developed in various fields, and that relations will be strengthened in the future.
