The Zangezur corridor is not just a matter of a corridor; it also involves various geopolitical interests. Obrayen clearly stated that Armenia must push Russia out of that project.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Armen Grigoryan, a professor at Lehigh University and a doctor of political science, in an interview with Armenian media.

“I don’t want us to control the corridor because if we do, the Azerbaijanis will set up a very calm game, placing the blame on us and causing a war,” he claimed.
