Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously spoken about attacks on Russian territory using American long-range weapons.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, while commenting on the decision of Western countries to allow Ukraine to attack Russian territory with long-range weapons.

It should be noted that Putin had earlier stated that the use of highly precise long-range Western weapons against Russia would mean direct involvement of NATO countries in combat operations in Ukraine.
