Heavy rain and flood risk expected in Azerbaijan

Starting from October 16 in the eastern regions of Azerbaijan until the afternoon of the 18th, the weather is expected to be intermittently rainy in some places, with lightning.

Axar.az was informed about this by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

In some places, precipitation is expected to be intense, with hail, and on the 17th, sleet is expected in high mountainous areas.

Due to the rainy weather, it is expected that the water level in rivers will increase, and short-term floods and mudflows will occur in some mountain rivers.
