Pakistan stood by Azerbaijan like a rock in the struggle for the liberation of its lands and will continue to do so.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at a military parade in Baku dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the victory in the Patriotic War.

“Under the far-sighted leadership of my dear brother, President Ilham Aliyev, my Azerbaijani brothers rose to the call of history. The whole world witnessed the glorious Armed Forces of Azerbaijan liberating their ancestral lands,” Shehbaz Sharif noted.

The Pakistani Prime Minister said that the return of former IDP families to Karabakh was inspiring:

“The implementation of reconstruction work in Lachin, Shusha, Khankendi - all other places liberated from occupation is phenomenal.”
