Delegation of the EBRD’s Treasury Department will visit Azerbaijan from 1 March to 2 March, 2016.

Representatives of the EBRD Treasury department include Managing Director, Treasurer Axel van Nederveen, Director, Head of Portfolio Management Aude Pacatte, Associate Director, Local Currency and Capital Market Development Matthew Saal, Principal, Funding Aziz Jurayev.

During the visit to Azerbaijan, members of the EBRD delegation will have meetings with Elman Rustamov, Governor of Central Bank of Azerbaijan Republic and Rufat Aslanli, Chairman of State Security Committee. Separate meeting with International Financial Institutions – World Bank and ADB will be held within the visit.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss framework for developing Money Markets and to discuss plans for EBRD AZN bond issuances.

Note that, on 23 – 25 February, 2016 Regional Director for financial institutions Mike Taylor visited Azerbaijan.
During the visit to Baku, Mike Taylor has met Azerbaijani government representatives. Elman Rustamov, Governor of Central Bank and Rufat Aslanli.
