The West Azerbaijan Community strongly condemns the absurd and slanderous statement of Alen Simonyan.

It was noted that the West Azerbaijan Community strongly condemns the absurd and slanderous statement of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, about the alleged occupation of 31 villages of Armenia by Azerbaijan.

He believes that by making such an unfounded claim, Armenia has once again demonstrated that it is not interested in signing a peace treaty with Azerbaijan. With this, Armenia is also trying to cover up the fact that Azerbaijan is still occupying 8 villages.

Instead of saying nice words about the return, the Armenian officials should take real steps and start a dialogue with the West Azerbaijani community in this direction.
