There are no Azerbaijani citizens among the pilgrims who died during the Hajj pilgrimage.

Axar.az reports that the information is provided by the Caucasus Muslims Office.

"Azerbaijanis are safe, and there are no citizens among those who have passed away," the CMO noted.

The office also stated that the pilgrims are about to complete their pilgrimage, and they will return to their homeland after the 26th of the month.

It should be noted that reports have surfaced of 922 pilgrims dying during the Hajj pilgrimage due to the extreme heat.
