On July 25, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with the delegation led by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Selakovic, the Serbian co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told that at the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the development of Azerbaijan-Serbia friendly and strategic partnership relations, which have a rich history, in various fields. It was emphasized that active cooperation is being implemented in trade-economic, investment, oil-gas, and industrial fields.

The importance of the practical implementation of the agreements reached between the heads of state in terms of further expansion of mutually beneficial partnership was noted.

The parties touched on the importance of the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission held in Baku.

The meeting also discussed the prospects of increasing trade turnover and mutual investments between the two countries, development of cooperation in transport-transit, renewable energy, humanitarian and other fields.
