During Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Moscow (October 7-8), his behavior gave the impression that the Armenian Prime Minister was going there for a demonstration.

Axar.az reports that this was mentioned in an article published by “Hraparak.”

It was noted that Armenia did not join two statements adopted by the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS (“Principles of Ensuring Security in Eurasia” and “Unacceptability of Unilateral Actions in International Relations” – regarding the imposition of sanctions outside the UN Charter). Pashinyan clearly stated during his speech at the meeting of CIS leaders that he has no intention of granting a corridor to Azerbaijan or handing over control of it to a third country (Russia), meaning that Russians should not get their hopes up. There are also reports that it was Pashinyan who refused the trilateral meeting format involving Putin, Aliyev, and himself.

“It creates the impression that Pashinyan is committed to the obligations he has taken on before Western centers and is rejecting the Russian platform, furthermore, he is gradually distancing Armenia from Russia.”
