The return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia is completely justifiable from the perspective of international law.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Russian political analyst Igor Korotchenko in an interview with "Moscow-Baku" while commenting on the necessity raised by the President of Azerbaijan in his address to international conference participants regarding the return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia.

"Azerbaijanis expelled from the territory of Armenia and their descendants should return, the Yerevan government must officially apologize to Azerbaijan, pay reparations, and open the process of returning Azerbaijanis to Armenia. Will this issue be accepted in Yerevan? No. They don't even want to discuss the question itself. However, the truth always prevails. The need for dialogue between Yerevan and Azerbaijanis will increasingly dominate. Today's Armenia is essentially a mono-ethnic state. This creates a fertile ground for the growth of nationalism and national egoism," he stated.
