In connection with the crash of an AZAL-owned aircraft near Aktau, the memory of those who perished in the crash was commemorated today in all mosques across Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that following the instructions of the Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), verses from the Quran were recited in the mosques for the souls of the victims, and prayers were offered for their souls.

The memory of the deceased was also honored at the Juma Mosque in Icherisheher.
