Polish President condoles with Azerbaijan

President of Poland Andrzej Duda expressed his condolences to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that it is said in his condolence:

"Dear Mr. President to His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

I received the news about the accident of the passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, and the death and injuries of many people.

I offer my deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during this disaster, and I wish recovery to the injured. All citizens of our country share the grief and sadness of the Azerbaijani people.

Mr. President, I ask you to accept my highest regards."

It should be noted that 38 of the 67 people on the plane died and 29 survived.

After the incident, a State Commission was established under the leadership of Prime Minister Ali Asadov to investigate the causes of the plane crash by order of President Ilham Aliyev.

It should be recalled that President Ilham Aliyev signed an order declaring December 26 as a day of mourning in Azerbaijan due to the accident of the Embraer 190 passenger plane, which was flying Baku-Grozny, on December 25 near the city of Aktau.
