On December 26, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, made a phone call to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that the Iranian President expressed his condolences to President Ilham Aliyev and the families of the deceased in connection with the plane crash, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the attention and condolences.
