Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan FMs hold phone conversation

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, made a phone call to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.

Axar.az reports that according to Azerbaijan MFA minister Murat Nurtleu expressed his deep sorrow upon learning about the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft in Aktau, Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh minister extended his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, as well as to the friendly and brotherly people of Azerbaijan. It was noted that from the first moments of the accident, the Kazakh emergency services were fully mobilized and participated in eliminating the consequences of the accident. It was stated that an investigative group had been established to determine the causes of the crash, and appropriate measures were being taken.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked his Kazakh counterpart for his condolences and, in turn, extended his sympathies to the families of the Kazakh citizens who lost their lives, as well as to the friendly and brotherly people of Kazakhstan. He also expressed gratitude for the support provided.
