According to the decision of the Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, 20,000 manats were paid to each of those who were injured and were on the Embraer 190 flight J2-8243 of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger airline that crashed in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 25.12.2024, and compensation of 40,000 manats was determined for the families of each of the deceased.

Axar.az reports that in addition to this, all passengers will receive an appropriate insurance payment applied in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and advanced international practice.
