Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko argued about the format of participation of the Armenian delegation in the next meeting at the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) summit.

Axar.az reports that the dispute started after Pashinyan announced that the Armenian delegation will participate in the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk in May 2025 in a remote format.

"What is the problem here? Is Minsk so far away? Is there no one to bring you? If necessary, we will bring your delegation," Lukashenko said.

In response, Pashinyan said that he had already made a statement about it and it is valid.

"I think this is not the right format to discuss the issues. You touched on this issue and I should have reacted immediately so that there would be no misunderstanding," he added.

It should be noted that the Prime Minister of Armenia spoke in video format at the current EU summit because he was infected with the coronavirus.
