Following the agreement between the border commissions of Azerbaijan and Armenia on January 16, delimitation work has begun in the northern direction.

Axar.az reports that this claim was made by the "Hraparak" publication.

According to the information, the delimitation process in the northern direction started yesterday.

“We were informed from Tavush that the boundary demarcation work began yesterday. Yesterday, both sides carried out measurements for several hours,” the publication writes.

It is noted that according to the agreement, the delimitation will proceed "from north to south." Last year, a 12-kilometer section of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border in the Qazakh-Tavush direction was demarcated. The process is currently ongoing in this direction.
