On January 23, Major General Ilgar Latifov, Deputy Commander of the Azerbaijani Army Land Forces, met with a delegation headed by Major General Abdullah Kashif, Director of Military Operations of the Pakistan Armed Forces, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.

The meeting emphasized the current state and future prospects of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as the importance of increasing the intensity of joint training exercises to enhance the knowledge and skills of military personnel through experience exchange.

At the end of the meeting, a "Instructions for Conducting Staff Talks between the Land Forces of the Azerbaijan Army and the Land Forces of the Pakistan Army" was signed.
