In some regions of Azerbaijan, precipitation is expected to intensify starting from the night of April 14-15, and will become even more severe on the 15th and 16th, and the rain will be heavy in the form of torrential rain.
Axar.az reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued information about this.
According to the warning, lightning, hail, snow in mountainous areas, torrential rain, and flooding from mountain rivers are likely in separate places.
On April 15-16, a westerly wind is expected to blow, reaching 15-20 m/s, and in some places it will occasionally increase to 25-30 m/s.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, intermittent rain will fall starting from the night of April 14-15, and on the 15th- 16th, it will be intense with occasional torrential rain. From the night of April 14 to 15 until the afternoon of the 17th, northwest winds are expected to blow, reaching 15-20 m/s, occasionally increasing to 25-30 m/s in some places.
The unstable weather conditions observed in the country will continue until April 17.
