Ukrainian champion died in the war

Another athlete of Ukraine died in the war with Russia.

Axar.az reports with reference to UNIAN that Vasili Pavelyev, the national champion among strongman amateurs, was shot while performing a combat mission.

Along with the athlete, who was a member of the Kyiv patrol police, his colleague Oleg Voloshin also lost his life.

It should be noted that about 100 Ukrainian athletes have died in the war so far.
