Josel Maria Fuste, former player of the Spanish national team and "Barcelona", died.

Axar.az reports with reference to the club's official website that the veteran midfielder died at the age of 82.

The legendary captain of the Catalan team protected the honor of this team in 1958-1972. During this period, the player played 406 games and scored 117 goals. Fuste won the Spanish Cup, the Fairs Cup and the UEFA Cup during his 14 years at Barcelona.

He also won the 1964 European Championship with the Spanish team.

It should be noted that Josel Maria Fuste has worn the uniform of "Condal", "Osasuna" and "Hercules" teams in addition to "Barcelona".
