Two riders killed in Czech motorcycle race

Two motorcycle racers were killed in an accident during the Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship (AAIMC) series in Brno, Czech Republic.

Axar.az reports that the information was announced by the press service of the European Motorcycle Racing Union (FIM Europe).

According to the statement, 32-year-old Austrian rider Philipp Steinmayr died at the scene of the crash, while 43-year-old Romanian rider Adrian Rus died in hospital after being taken there in critical condition.

All competitions scheduled for the weekend were cancelled.
