Alves was released in exchange for 1 million euros

The court of Barcelona released former Brazilian football player Dani Alves on bail of 1 million euros.

Axar.az reports that earlier, Dani Alves' lawyer Ines Guardiola filed an appeal against the verdict of the Barcelona court and demanded the release of the convict until the final verdict.

It should be noted that in January of last year, 40-year-old Dani Alves was accused of raping a girl in the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona. On January 20, the former football player was taken into custody. Later, he was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison and also ordered to pay 150,000 euros to the victim as moral compensation. At the same time, the Spanish prosecutor's office is planning to file an appeal against the court's decision, thinking that Alves should remain in prison for a longer period.
