The match played at the Tovuz city stadium ended with a 2:0 victory for the hosts. The goals were scored by Alex Souza in the 26th minute and Otto John in the 82nd minute.

After this result, "Turan Tovuz" increased its points to 39 and rose to the 6th place. "Sabah" remained in the 5th place with 40 points.
