On April 6, Azerbaijani female wrestler Maria Stadnik reached the semi-final match at the European Olympic Qualifying tournament held in Baku.

Axar.az reports that the athlete fighting in the 50 kg weight class met Oksana Livach from Ukraine.

M. Stadnik, who lost to his opponent with a score of 2:4, could not win a license for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games from this tournament.

It should be noted that Elnura Mammadova (53 kg), Birgul Soltanova (62 kg) and Elis Manolova (68 kg) were among the other female wrestlers who joined the competition today, and Jala Aliyeva (57 kg) lost in the 1/4 final and failed to win a license. .
