There was a food shortage in the Paris Olympic Village

Athletes from Great Britain complained about the lack of food and poor quality food at the Olympic village in Paris.

Axar.az reports that the head of the British Olympic Association, Andy Anson, told the "Daily Mail" publication.

It was emphasized that the athletes are dissatisfied with the main restaurant in the Olympic village.

"The catering company works to speed up the delivery of food. Certain foods are not enough: eggs, chicken, certain carbohydrates. In addition, athletes are given raw meat. However, the quality of the food is important. Our athletes preferred to eat at our restaurant in Clichy," Anson said.

It should be noted that the Paris Olympics will be held from July 26 to August 11.
