Iraqi athlete suspended from the Olympics due to doping

Iraqi judoka Sajad Ghanim Sehen has been temporarily suspended from the Paris Olympics.

Axar.az reports that this was caused by the athlete's violation of anti-doping rules.

The result of the doping test taken from the judoka on July 23 was positive. He will not be able to compete in Paris-2024 and may appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The athlete also has the right to request the results of the B sample.

It should be noted that the Paris Olympics, the opening ceremony of which will be held today, will end on August 11.
