Two of our judokas stopped competing in the Olympics

Azerbaijani judoka Yashar Najafov has started competing in the Summer Olympic Games held in Paris, the capital of France.

Axar.az reports that the athlete, who performed in the 66 kg weight category, faced Strahinya Buncic (Serbia) in the 1/16 final stage.

Y. Najafov, who lost to his opponent, had to say goodbye to the tournament.

Gultaj Mammadaliyeva, another Azerbaijani judoka, also started competing in the Summer Olympic Games held in Paris, the capital of France.

The 52 kg athlete faced Angelica Delgado (USA) in the 1/16 final round.

Having lost to her opponent, G. Mammadaliyeva had to say goodbye to the tournament.
