Today, three wrestlers of Azerbaijan and the representative of France in fencing will perform at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

Axar.az reports that Maria Stadnik, who is the defender of Azerbaijan in the struggle of female wrestlers, will take part in her first match. She will face Germany's Anastasia Blayvas in the 1/8 finals. This is the 5th Olympiad in Stadnik's career.

Sanan Suleymanov will compete with Ayk Mnatsakanyan representing Bulgaria in the competition of Greco-Roman wrestlers. Suleymanov, who tried his strength in the weight class of 77 kg, will join the competition from the 1/8 finals. Both meetings will be discussed at around 13:00 Baku time.

Another Greco-Roman wrestler will compete in the medal match to create Sabah Shariat. Shariati Amin Mirzazadeh (Iran) - Seungchan Lee (Korea) in the 130 kg weight class will fight with the winner. The matches for the third place will start at 20:15.

Azerbaijan will try to play chess with Anna Skidan in the final. Our athlete, who qualified for the final by taking the 6th place among 32 athletes, will compete for a medal. The solver will output 12. The fight will start at 21:50 Baku time.

Note that Paris-2024 will end on August 11. Until now, judokas Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) and Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) have become Olympic champions. Boxer Alfonso Dominguez (92 kg) reached the finals and secured at least a silver medal.
