Azerbaijan high jump champion banned for four years

Azerbaijan high jump champion Yusif Abdullayev has been disqualified for four years.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by the press service of AMADA.

It was reported that the ban was due to the athlete's violation of anti-doping rules.

He was punished for evading sample collection, refusing or failing to provide a sample.The athlete's penalty took effect on September 11 and will expire on September 10, 2028.

It is noteworthy that Y. Abdullayev became the Azerbaijan champion in high jump this May.
