A military parade dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War has started.

Axar.az reports that the parade will feature more than 3,000 personnel, about 150 military equipment, including modern military equipment, missiles and artillery, air defence systems, as well as warships and boats. The parade will also feature some of the military booty seized by the Azerbaijani Army during the Great Patriotic War.

The military orchestra performed "Azerbaijan fanfare".

The Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, reported to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The heads of state greeted the soldiers.

The military orchestra sang the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
