At the request of the Azerbaijani side, the servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent provided security for the passage of two transport convoys of the Republic of Azerbaijan through the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Accompanied by Russian military personnel, more than 60 trucks delivered construction materials to restore the infrastructure of Shusha settlement. The Russian peacekeeping contingent will continue to contribute to the strict implementation of the tripartite agreement and the restoration of peaceful life in the region," the ministry said.
