On the occasion of the celebration of Azerbaijan’s Victory Day on November 8, Niagara Falls which locates between the United States and Canada and is one of the biggest falls in the world were lit up with the colours of the national flag of Azerbaijan at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United States of America.

It was noted that November 8 coincides with Victory Day in our country, as well as taking into account the time difference between the US and Azerbaijan, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the US addressed a corresponding request to the management of the Niagara Falls State Park to lit up the waterfall on this date, and a positive decision was adopted by the management of the park.
