A video has been circulated reflecting the deep disagreement between Iran's former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the religious leader Ali Khamenei.

Axar.az reports that in the video, Ahmadinejad's former adviser Abbas Amirifar discusses a dialogue with Ahmadinejad.

"I told Ahmadinejad that you have problems with everyone, which can make you popular, but you shouldn't do the same with the leader Ali Khamenei! He said that coincidentally, our problem is with him," the former adviser stated.

According to local experts, the video reflecting the disagreement between Ali Khamenei and Ahmadinejad is aimed at distancing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from the process, especially on the eve of the upcoming presidential elections.
