Thousands of people gathered in front of the parliament building in the center of Tbilisi to protest the results of the parliamentary elections held on October 26.
Axar.az reports that the action was organized by the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili.
"I want to tell everyone here that you did not lose the elections, they tried to steal your future, but no one has the right to do that," Zurabishvili said in his speech at the rally.
He noted that total falsification of the elections took place on October 26:
"All possible methods of forgery were used and modern technologies were applied to cover up the forgery. The recent elections are a manifestation of a special operation and a "hybrid war" against the people.
It should be noted that in the elections held on October 26, the ruling Georgian Desire won with 53.93% of votes. 4 opposition coalitions that managed to enter the parliament and President Zurabishvili announced that the elections were rigged and did not recognize the results.
