U.S. opposes anti-Russia amendment at UN

For the first time since 2022, the United States has opposed an anti-Russia amendment at the UN.

Axar.az reports that the U.S. voted against an amendment targeting Russia in the UN resolution on combating the glorification of Nazism — the first such vote since 2022.

It is noted that the UN General Assembly’s Third Committee approved the resolution proposed by Russia titled “Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism, and contemporary forms of racism, xenophobia, and intolerance.” A total of 114 countries voted in favor and 52 against.
