Samsung raises DDR5 chip prices by 60%

Global technology giant Samsung raised prices for some DDR5 memory chips by 60% in November.

Axar.az reports that the company announced this.

It was reported that Samsung Electronics increased the prices of 32 GB DDR5 memory chips from $149 to $239 in November compared to September.

Samsung, which has lagged behind its competitors in artificial intelligence chips in recent years, has increased its pricing power thanks to its strong memory position.

Analysts have not ruled out that this could also lead to an increase in the prices of smartphones and computers.
