A fire broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery (OR) in the Seversk district of Russia’s Krasnodar region following a drone attack.
Axar.az informs that this was reported on the Telegram channel of the region’s operational headquarters.
“Part of the technical equipment on the refinery’s territory was damaged, while the storage facilities were not affected. The fire covered an area of about 100 square meters. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties, and the refinery’s employees have been moved to shelters,” the statement said.
It should be noted that the refinery, which processes 6.25 million tons of oil annually, has previously been targeted by drone attacks.
