US Ambassador Barrack opposes regime change in Iran

If we look at the US since 1946, there have been about 93 coups or regime change attempts around the world, all of which have failed. That is why my leaders – President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio – are not in favor of regime change through intervention.

Axar.az reports that this was said by US Ambassador to Turkiye Tom Barrack while talking about a possible regime change in Iran.

“We have experienced two regime changes in Iran before, neither of which resulted in results, so it is a wiser decision to leave the matter to the responsibility of regional countries,” the ambassador noted.
